legal experience of more than 40 years.
Founder
of the firm, obtained her law degree from Universidad Gabriel René
Moreno. Dr. Galarza has almost 20 years of professional experience, 11
of which worked in the Central Bank of Bolivia, as National Legal Manager,
Adjunct Legal Counselor, and Vice Manager of Financial Institutions on
Liquidation, among others.
Dr. Galarza formerly was Legal Counselor of the Fondo de Fortalecimiento
Financiero y Apoyo al Sector Productivo (FONDESIF) (1995-1997); General
Director of Penal Colonies (1989-1991); General Counselor, Board of Directors’
General Secretary and Chief of Public Relations of the Corporación
de Desarrollo de Tarija (CODETAR).
In the private sector, Dr. Galarza was national consultant of the Project
of public defense on the Latin American Institute of United Nations for
the Prevention of Criminal Activities and Treatment of the Offender (ILANUD).
Dr. Galarza has a master’s degree on “Audit and Financial
Control” from Masters for Development implemented by the Catholic
University of Bolivia and the Harvard Institute for International Development
(HIID), acquiring organizational tools, information systems, regulatory
issues, managerial control, negotiations and finances.
In addition, Dr. Galarza has a degree in Social Sciences with mention
on Economic International Relations from the Facultad Latino Americana
de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO), San Jose, Costa Rica.
Dr. Galarza is currently professor of banking and financial law in the
Program of Economic Law, of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolivar.
Founder
of the firm, obtained his law degree from Catholic University of Bolivia,
with more than 8 years of professional experience. Former Vice Manager
of Legal Affairs and Vice Manager of Legal Analysis and Norms, both of
the Central Bank of Bolivia (2000-2003), acquiring broad experience on
financial, commercial, banking and securities Laws. In addition, Dr Fabbri
has acquired impressive experience in the practice on Commercial and Civil
Courts of Law. He was a member of various legislative commissions on commercial
topics.
Dr. G. Fabbri was Legal Advisor of the coactive division of the Caja
Nacional de Salud 1997. His duty was mostly dedicated to recover social
(workers) debts by judiciary and extra judiciary procedures.
Dr. G. Fabbri is University Professor of Commercial Law on The Catholic
University of Bolivia, also teaching Financial and Banking Law on the
post grade programs of the Universidad Andina “Simón Bolívar”.
He also teaches Financial Law in the Private Bolivian University (UPB).
In 1997, Dr. G. Fabbri was honored with the prize of “Best Law
Thesis in Bolivia 1997” by the Military Association of High National
Studies (AE-DAEN).
Dr. G. Fabbri has a Masters Degree on Management and Public Policy implemented
by the Catholic University and the Harvard Institute for International
Development. (HIID), acquiring professional skills in different fields
with emphasis on Public Law, “rational practical analysis”,
negotiations, managerial decision making, human resources administration,
project analysis and economic environments, among others, obtaining the
highest qualification on the Degree Project (Final Dissertation).
Dr. G. Fabbri speaks fluently English, Italian and Spanish.

on 1997. From the Public Sector, Dr. J.M.Fabbri is former National Legal
Director of the Institute of National Statistics (INE), Legal Advisor
of the Department of Concessions in the Bolivian Customs, Legal Advisor
of the Human Resources Director and Attorney of the Legal Direction, both
of the Local Government of La Paz.
From the private sector, Dr. Fabbri was Legal Advisor of the multinational
GREY Peru; Agrodata, and the Ombudsman of Bolivia (Defensor del Pueblo
de Bolivia) among others.
Dr. J. M. Fabbri has a Masters Degree on International Commerce and Policy
from George Mason University, (Arlington Virginia, United States of America,
1999-2001) where he acquired interdisciplinary skills related with the
global economy, international economic issues, such as global trade and
investment, political, social, and technological aspects of the international
marketplace and the technological industry; multinational advisory, on
electronic commerce, imports and exports under GATT, NAFTA and Harmonized
Tariff Schedule (HTS) rules.
Dr. J.M. Fabbri had the privileged to study with world-class professors
such as Dr. Francis Fukuyama, Dr. Seymour Martin Lipset, Dr. John D. Sullivan,
Dr. Dan Gaske, Dr. Anthony Wallace, Dr. Desmond Dinan, Dr. Stuart Malawer,
and Dr. Matthys van Schaik, among others.
Dr. J.M. Fabbri graduated with honors from George Mason University, where
he also worked as an assistant of legal and economics investigation, on
issues related with international commerce and corruption of legal systems.
Dr. J.M. Fabbri has a degree in Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR)
by the Local Bar Association and the Chamber of Commerce (1995).
Dr. J.M. Fabbri has a degree in English as a Second language by the English
Language Institute of George Mason University. In addition, he has a degree
from the Bolivian-American Center. He speaks English fluently.
Dr. J.M. Fabbri is former University Professor of Administrative Law for
Post Grade on the CIDES UMSA program.
